Hand-carved African wall mask, handmade in Ghana.
This striking piece measures approximately 26.5 inches tall and features an elongated horned design with deeply carved geometric details.
The wooden mask has a dark rustic finish and is decorated with extensive hand-worked embossed/hammered metal panels across the face, including raised dot and floral-style designs.
The long twin horns and narrow facial form give the piece an impressive sculptural appearance when displayed on a wall.
Original paper label on the back reads “HAND MADE IN GHANA.”
This appears to be a Ghanaian decorative/export carving influenced by traditional West African mask designs. Exact artisan and date of manufacture are unknown.

Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, variations in the wood finish, oxidation/patina and irregularities to the metalwork.
