The sculptural piece features smooth, flowing contours, detailed facial features, and a high-gloss finish, designed by the master sculptor Reinhold Unger. Produced under Goebel's religious Sacrart line in mid-century West Germany, this specific piece features an elegant all-white glaze finish detailing a hooded Virgin Mary cradling the infant Jesus.
Identifying marks can be found on the base, usually featuring a stamped Goebel trademark (such as the "Full Bee" or stylized V mark) along with the etched model prefix.Origin: West Germany

Dimensions: 6”H x 3.75”W x 3”DCondition: The figurine is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs, maintaining its original glossy finish and value. No crazing at all, which is be very rare for similarly aged Goebel sculptures. There is the teeniest chip on the left side of the Cape where it meets the hair. And a yellow line along one nostril.
