Vintage Gorham Maestri Silverplated Mushroom Salt and Pepper Shakers Set - Made in ItalyUp for sale is a charming pair of vintage mid-century modern "Atomic Mushroom" salt and pepper shakers produced by Maestri in Italy for Gorham. This sleek, space-age set is beautifully crafted from heavily silver-plated brass, showcasing a rounded figural mushroom cap look resting on tiny pedestal bases. Each individual shaker rests on three delicate built-in metal peg feet to elevate it slightly off the table surface. The bottoms are designed with an internal core piece that unscrews or slides out smoothly to allow for easy filling. A fantastic addition to any Mid-Century Modern tableware collection, gourmet barware set, or whimsical cottagecore kitchen display.Condition Notes:
The shakers are in good vintage condition with a solid, heavy-in-hand weight. The silver plating exhibits honest age-related surface wear, scuffs, and areas of heavy vintage tarnish/patina that highlight the antique detailing. They can be left as-is for a rustic look or polished up brightly if preferred. No dents, broken feet, or structural issues.
