Vintage woven decorative textile / fabric panel featuring a large-scale geometric frame design with trailing leaves and vines in gray and muted gold.
The design is woven into the fabric rather than printed, with contrasting gray and gold areas and an attractive soft sheen. The textile has a smooth, soft, fluid hand and drapes nicely.
Measures approximately 59” x 96”. The 96” sides retain finished selvedge edges, and the 59” ends are neatly and uniformly hemmed. The large-scale design is arranged as a complete rectangular composition, suggesting this may originally have been intended as a decorative panel or other finished home textile rather than ordinary cut yardage.
Fiber content is unknown. The fabric has a soft, fluid feel and sheen reminiscent of rayon, but no fiber identification is present, so fiber content cannot be confirmed.
