Vintage Gregorian Copper pedestal planter or cachepot featuring a small urn-shaped body, fluted ruffled rim, rounded foot, and movable loop handles.
The underside is stamped “Gregorian Copper” with a faint number beneath the name that appears to read 259. This handsome mid-century copper vessel has developed a warm, naturally aged finish that works beautifully with traditional, French country, cottagecore, and collected vintage décor.
Approximate measurements:
• 4 1/2 inches tall
• Approximately 5 3/4 inches across including the handles
Good vintage condition with natural tarnish, darkened patina, scratches, scuffs, finish variation, and small areas of blue-green verdigris. Darkening is visible around the handle attachments and beneath the upper rim. The piece has not been polished.
There is no drainage hole. If used as a planter, place a small nursery pot or watertight liner inside. The vessel has not been tested for water tightness or food safety and is being sold as a decorative item.
