This is a matching pair of vintage hand-carved white jade or alabaster stone Chinese Foo Dog (Guardian Lion) figurines. - Key Decorative Details: The pieces are hand-sculpted from a translucent, milky-white hardstone featuring natural soft grey mineral inclusions and a smooth, polished finish. The set includes a traditional male and female pair; one lion holds a decorative embroidered ball under its front paw, while the other features a cub. Both stand on integrated stepped rectangular pedestal bases and exhibit open mouths with detailed manes.
- Dimensions: Based on the tape measure in the photos, each individual guardian lion stands approximately 4.25 inches (~10.8 cm) tall and measures roughly 2.25 inches (~5.7 cm) in width.
