Good vintage condition with an authentic aged patina. Striking pair of vintage hand-carved and polychrome painted wood relief bust wall plaques depicting Native American chiefs.
While unsigned (standard for many of his souvenir pieces), these carvings are a direct stylistic match in technique, scale, and finish to documented works by noted carver Jack Riedel. They feature his distinctive deep-set, "heavy-lidded" eyes and detailed geometric cutouts along the headbands
One piece has a clean break/chip at the tip of its feather, clearly shown in the close-up photos. Wood is solid, paint colors remain vibrant, and mounting holes are completely intact.
