Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Bear on Back Chewing Paw 9\" For Sale

Here is a very attractive and unusual hand carved wooden bear figure. He is lying on his back and biting or chewing his left hind paw. I don\'t know the origin of this figure. It came out of an estate collection. It measures about 9\" by 6\" by 6\". It is in excellent condition overall with no significant issues. There is a small hole on top of head, likely done in the making. There is some rubbing to the base from tabletop contact. There appears to be a faint signature on base but I can\'t make it out. There are minimal minor surface marks. There is a bit of dust in some recesses. Looks great overall. Please see photos.
