Vintage ceramic cabbage-form tureen with highly detailed figural lid and matching asparagus ladle.
The bowl is modeled as a head of cabbage with deep leaf veins and a glossy green glaze. The lid is a packed vegetable garden scene: three rabbits (one white, two tan/gray), a large carrot, ear of corn, yellow squash with green star leaf, tomato, peas in the pod, and leafy greens. Interior of the lid is a glaze with two small factory vent holes.
Included is a ceramic ladle with a white bowl and an asparagus-stalk handle that fades from white into green with modeled tips.
No maker’s mark, stamp, or signature anywhere on the tureen, lid, or ladle. Likely a 1970s–90s. In the same vein as Holland Mold cabbage ware, but with a much busier, more colorful lid.
Condition: Glossy glaze throughout. No chips, cracks, or repairs visible in photos. Lid underside shows typical manufacturing pinholes. Please review all photos; they are part of the description.
Use: Soup or stew tureen, covered casserole, Easter/spring centerpiece, cottagecore or kitschy kitchen display. Hand wash recommended.Ships well packed. Feel free to ask questions before offerding
