The graduation tassel is navy blue and gold with a gilt date charm reading 80, so the class of 1980. Both colours are present in the skein and the cord loop is intact.
The Spartans pin is a die-cut plastic pin-back showing a cartoon football player in a purple jersey, helmet on, breaking through a cloud of dust with the word SPARTANS across his chest. It is the kind of booster pin sold at the gate on game nights.
The award medal is a small gilt disc on a red, white and blue grosgrain ribbon, the disc struck with a wreath border and the abbreviation IND. ARTS for Industrial Arts, awarded in shop class.
The patch is a half-round felt and embroidered crest reading 90-91 ALL-DISTRICT BAND in white on black with a white merrowed edge, the sleeve or jacket patch given to students who made the district honour band.
Condition is used and consistent with things kept in a drawer for decades. The tassel has some tangling and a few loose strands. The pin-back plastic is bright with light surface scuffing and the pin works. The medal ribbon shows light soiling and the gilt has dulled a little. The patch is clean with crisp embroidery and no moth damage. Nothing is torn or broken.
