Vintage 1959 Holt Howard Pixie Elf Christmas MUG Signed
Measures approximately 4.5\" x 5\" and is made of delicate ceramic. Excellent condition. Has some glue residue visible in close-up photos on top & bottom of the handle, may have been re-glued in its past life. (In person this shows much less.) No chips or cracks. Pixie has a manufacturing flaw...a bit of black paint on the face which is not unusual for these MCM hand-painted items. If not for the expressive smile this looks so much like a tear on its cheek. Charming vintage Holt Howard Christmas mug featuring the iconic Pixie Elf design, the dated mark of 1959 is a bit smudged but still clear. A fantastic piece of mid-century holiday decor and a great addition to any Holt Howard, Pixie Elf, vintage Christmas, or kitschy collectible collection.
For being 67 years old, what great condition!! Bought at a local Eastern Iowa sale. A hard-to-find vintage piece with classic Holt Howard holiday pixie-elf character!
