An attractive mixed collection for the vintage horse and equestrian ceramics collector.Included are:• Hertwig Katzhütte Horse & Foal Group – a beautiful larger vintage German ceramic group featuring a mare and foal together on an oval base, finished in rich brown gloss.• Beswick Shire Foal – Model No. 1053 – designed by renowned Beswick modeller Arthur Gredington. Brown/bay gloss finish with dark mane and attractive light leg markings. The 1053 Shire Foal measures approximately 5 inches / 12.7 cm high.Goebel West Germany Foal – charming small reclining foal in a glossy chestnut brown colourway with white facial blaze.Goebel West Germany factory mark to the underside, as shown in the photographs.CONDITIONAll three are vintage, pre-owned pieces and display very nicely overall.Please note: the Beswick Shire Foal Model 1053 has a clean repair to one of its rear legs.
