Hand-carved in Rajasthan, India, this striking piece features a classic arched Mughal window silhouette finished in a vibrant cobalt blue and gold gilt palette. The frame is beautifully hand-painted with traditional Indian folk art elements, including decorated festival elephants, a center sun deity, courtly women, and delicate floral vines. The top scalloped crown and bottom border are inset with authentic, glittering micro-mirror mosaic glass pieces. The back features two pre-installed metal hanging brackets.Condition:Good vintage pre-owned condition overall. The wooden frame is structurally sound, and the hand-painted artwork and colors remain bright and beautiful. All miniature glass mosaic mirror pieces along the top and bottom borders are fully intact. As noted, the central window area is open and does NOT include a mirror glass or backing piece.
