Vintage Ingraham Wooden Mantle Clock SST6 1930\'s Tested Working For Sale

The Ingraham SST6 is a vintage self-starting synchronous electric wooden mantel clock made by the E. Ingraham Company of Bristol, Connecticut, typically dating from the 1930s era of electric clock innovation.

Key Features

• Movement Type: Electric synchronous motor that is self-starting—meaning the gear and motor mechanism begin turning automatically as soon as it is plugged into a standard AC electrical outlet.

• Materials: Usually built with a traditional wooden case (often styled in tambour or classic art-deco shelf designs).

Operation: Unlike antique mechanical wind-up models, it requires no key for daily running or mainspring winding, relying entirely on household electricity to maintain synchronous time.

Please note some light scratches here and there. Mostly on the back. See close up picture. The plug cap at the end is missing and wires are exposed. Sold as is.
