A lovely perfume atomizer with a pink opaline core cased in heavy clear glass, with large air pockets deliberately trapped in the casing. It carries three labels: a gold foil sticker with a scalloped silver edge reading OPALINE VERITABLE, a white banner sticker reading ENTIEREMENT FAIT-MAIN, and a torn gold-and-blue Irice foil label on the base. The two French-language stickers describe the glass and the handwork; the country line on the Irice label is lost, so no country of origin is claimed here. The bulb assembly is complete and still attached: mesh-covered bulb, lavender tassel and gold-tone fittings with leaf mounts.
SIZE (approximate): 7 in tall with the fitting in place, 2.5 in wide, 2.5 in deep
STYLE: Cased opaline vanity atomizer with a complete bulb and tassel
AGE (approximate): No date appears on any of the three labels and no age is established. The form and fittings are consistent with mid-20th century vanity atomizers.
CONDITION: No chips and no cracks visible. The neck ferrule is tarnished with dark deposits at the rim. The bulb is present and attached.
SHIPPING & RETURNS: Items will be carefully and professionally packed for shipment. Returns not accepted. Please review photos carefully. These are vintage pre-owned items with age-related wear.
