Vintage Japan 1950s Sleeping Boy & Girl Ceramic Salt & Pepper Shakers Set For Sale

Vintage pair of ceramic boy-and-girl salt and pepper shakers, made in Japan (both stamped “JAPAN” on the base, stoppers still in place). Blond boy in blue pants and a green scarf reading a yellow book; blond girl in a pink dress and white apron. Shaker holes are in the tops of their heads — 2 on the boy, 3 on the girl. Each stands about 4½\" tall. Some light paint wear on the boy\'s hair and minor scuffs, consistent with age; no chips or cracks noted. A sweet mid-century kitchen pair.p
