Item Details: Beautiful vintage Japanese lacquered musical jewelry box featuring detailed hand-painted landscapes with Mount Fuji, pagodas, bridges, and cherry blossoms, highlighted with abalone mother-of-pearl inlays. The inside lid features a mirrored 3D pop-up scene with a geisha in a rickshaw, Mount Fuji background, and cherry blossoms. It includes inner compartments with orange tassels and blue velvet-lined storage sections. The key and wind-up mechanism are present. Dimensions: approximately 7.5" x 5" x 4.25" (19 cm x 13 cm x 11 cm). Marked "Japan" on the bottom. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with visible wear, paint flaking, and chips along the top edges and corners. Mechanical movement is functional.
