Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Japanese lusterware creamer and matching lidded sugar bowl set. This gorgeous set features a stunning iridescent periwinkle blue/purple opalescent finish that shifts elegantly in the light. Each piece is beautifully accented with hand-painted white cherry blossoms (sakura) branching out with delicate raised enamel dotting, offset by a rich gold-toned interior glaze.
Both items feature a stamped orange "MADE IN JAPAN" mark cleanly on their unglazed bases.
**Approximate Measurements:**
* **Sugar Bowl (With Lid):** Stands approximately 4.5" tall to the top of the finial knob and measures roughly 6" wide from handle to handle.
* **Creamer Pitcher:** Stands approximately 3.25" tall at the spout and measures roughly 4.75" wide from the tip of the spout to the edge of the handle.
