Striking vintage framed Christian devotional print depicting Jesus Christ as the Man of Sorrows, seated beneath a halo and wearing the Crown of Thorns. Christ is shown following the scourging with numerous bleeding wounds across his body, creating an unusually dramatic depiction of the Passion.
Presented in its vintage decorative frame with blue and metallic-tone trim and easel-style backing.
Measures approximately 14\" × 9\" overall.
Vintage condition with age-related wear, including visible surface/print marks and scratches, particularly in the upper left area. Frame also shows normal wear from age. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the condition description.
An especially compelling piece for a collection of vintage Catholic/Christian devotional art, Jesus imagery, Passion of Christ artwork, Gothic religious décor or unusual religious ephemera.
