Vintage Kanawha Uranium Glass Water Bottle Clipper Ship Double Spout Carafe Glow For Sale

Beautiful mid-century, green art glass double-spout water bottle / pitcher. Manufactured by the Kanawha Glass Company of Dunbar, West Virginia with embossed clipper ship / sailing boat motif on the sides. Inspired by the Blenko 384 bottle shape, but beautifully distinguished by Kanawha’s unique nautical imprint. App 8" x 6.5Uranium Glass / Glow Note:This is a brilliant green on its own but when tested it lights up andverified as true Uranium Glass. As shown in the photo as best I could, it reacts loudly to a UV blacklight to a brilliant, bright neon green glow. A stunning addition to any glow glass or EAPG / mid-century art glass cabinet display. I have never seen such a solid glow.History-A gift from a talented artist/collector in the Hudson Valley area of NY that I never used just displayed. I am parting and sharing it now to help support greyhound rescue because I love them more :).
