I am cleaning out my kokeshi collection and selling these pieces as a set.Please understand that these are very old pieces; some have damage, loose pieces and all have signs of wear from age, display & use.
Craftsmen include: Sato Suigai, Isamu, Kisaku, Kishi Sadao & a few that are unknown.
Amateur Inspection:This set includes kokeshi that have fading, darkening, staining, peeling/chipping of paint & wax finish, floating wax, dents, scratches,cracks, chips, water spots, visible glue residue & loose pieces such as heads and accessories.
The kokeshi with the top knot/kanzashi & the one with the ball will have their loose pieces removed, wrapped & bagged for shipping.

Take note that warmer weather has arrived.This heat, in addition to the vibration during the delivery process, can soften old glue and allow for adhesion failure.This is more common with older kokeshi and/or when a sparse amount of glue is present. Please utilize wood glue in this instance.
