Authentic vintage Eastover Mining Company snapback hat featuring the Brookside, Kentucky patch on the front. Manufactured by Cardinal Cap & Jacket Co. of Grundy, Virginia and made in the U.S.A.
This hat was acquired from the estate of a former Eastover Mining Company employee and was found alongside additional Eastover Mining Company hats, mining memorabilia, and company publications from the 1970s era. Based on the construction, materials, manufacturer markings, and accompanying estate items, this hat is believed to date to the late 1970s.
A great piece of Appalachian coal mining history for collectors of mining memorabilia, Kentucky history, industrial advertising, and vintage workwear.
