A beautiful example of Le Tallec workmanship. The Atelier is now defunct so their pieces have become a rarity. Especially those with painted figures by AG. This one of a pair is with Napoleon troops aiming their bayonets at thebattle of Vitebsk orWitepsk.Done on a deep purple ground with pure etched border and bees emblem of the Emperor.Signed by AG, their only figure painter. Dated 1958.In perfect condition. Saucer is 4.25 inches wide and the cup is 2.75 tall.
