Vintage Leroy Howell Wood Painted Spearing Fish Fishing Decoy Lure For Sale

This sale is for a wooden hand carved Fish Spearing Decoy. Here is a great collection item. The piece has an all wood body, with 2 metal fins and tail. The color scheme is green and cream white. I was told by another collector that Leroy Howell a Minnesota carver was the person who usually had done this style of decoy, I’m not a decoy collector, just selling it as a nice folk art piece. The decoy is in decentcondition for its age, there is some minor paint ware and dirt or grime, but overall a nice piece for display, it measures about 7 inches long and 1.75 tall and 2.5 inches wide at fins. The bottom of the piece has a lead weight in it. I also have other hunting fishing items including listed and other beer items check out my other sales.
