Beautiful vintage Lladró porcelain dog figurine, handcrafted in Spain and presented with its original Lladró box and packing material.
The sculpture depicts a charming long-haired companion dog, most closely resembling a Lhasa Apso or Shih Tzu, standing alert with its head raised. The sculptor captured the breed's characteristic flowing coat, long ears, curled plume-like tail, and expressive face with wonderful detail.
Finished primarily in glossy white with subtle soft beige/taupe shading along the ears, face, coat and tail. Hand-painted brown eyes and delicate facial details give the dog an especially sweet expression.
The underside carries the authentic Lladró blue backstamp – Made in Spain, and the original blue Lladró presentation/storage box is included. The box shows considerable age and storage wear, including tape, surface loss, tears and discoloration; please see photographs.
A lovely piece for a Lladró collection, porcelain animal collection, or dog lover, particularly collectors of Lhasa Apso and Shih Tzu memorabilia.
