Vintage MCM Amber Bakelite Wide Bracelet Bangle Authentic “Simichrome” Tested For Sale

This item is a vintage carved amber Bakelite bangle bracelet, likely dating from the 1930s to the 1940s. These bracelets are highly collectible examples of Art Deco era jewelry and are typically made from cast phenolic resin.

Product Details

Material: Authentic Bakelite, tested and verified by a "Simichrome" test. It will turn your cloth yellow-brown if it is Bakelite. If it is not your cloth will remain purple, the same color as the Simichrome.

I test all my Bakelite and show a picture of the results. It is usually the last picture.

It has an amber marbling pattern.

It is just a wide bracelet measuring 1.5 “ and measures 2.5 inches on the inside of the bracelet.

This bracelet is used and does show some light wear and scratches.
