Vintage Mascot Vest Pocket Circular Slide Rule with Leather Case and Manual For Sale

OVERVIEW

Circular slide rules in this size were made to live in a waistcoat or shirt pocket and were carried by engineers, machinists and salesmen through the middle of the last century. They come up for sale regularly as the bare rule alone — the leather case and the little instruction booklet are the two things that almost never survive together with it, and this one has both. That is the whole reason this listing is priced where it is rather than at the bare-rule number.

The disc rotates through its full travel, the cursor tracks with it, and the scales are readable. It is being sold as a vintage instrument and a display or collector Mascot
