Vintage Mayan Calendar Carrier of Time Plaque Renato Dorfman Style Plaster Art For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Mayan Haab Solar Calendar relief plaque, finely detailed in a crisp, light-cream cast plaster style popularized by Mexican artisan Renato Dorfman. The central motif beautifully captures the symbolic "Carrier of Time" (Year Bearer) supporting a massive glyph bundle with a traditional headstrap, surrounded by an outer ring of the calendar's 19 monthly glyphs. Measuring approximately 5.5 inches square, this piece is in excellent vintage condition with sharp, clean relief lines and no major chips or cracks. It is fully ready for display with its original dark wood easel stand intact on the back—which includes a pre-drilled hole for wall hanging—and still retains its original informational paper string tag.
