Up for sale is a beautiful vintage souvenir key ring from the world-famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This mid-century piece features a central shield emblem showcasing the iconic "New Mayo Clinic Building" (now known as the Mayo Building), highlighted against a light blue background. The shield is set into a heavily textured, fluted silvertone metal medallion.
What makes this item exceptionally rare is the inclusion of its original presentation packaging. It remains complete with the white cardstock display insert, stamped "KEY RING MADE IN U.S.A.", a black paperboard base, and the original rigid, ribbed clear plastic lid.
Condition:
The key ring itself is in excellent vintage condition with bright metal and crisp text. The original plastic lid shows authentic age-related cloudiness and fine surface scuffs, but it remains fully intact with no major cracks or shatters.
