An exceptional mid-century vintage Krampus / Alpine Christmas Devil figure, made in Austria/Germany circa the 1950s.
Features:Head: Hard molded composition head with hand-painted facial detailing, white eyes, visible teeth/fangs, and metallic gold horns.
Body: Flexible, poseable red wire-core chenille (pipe cleaner) body complete with an extended tail.
Accessories: Holds its original black metal link chain in one hand and a natural straw bundle broom (Ruten) in the other.
Condition:Excellent vintage condition. The composition head retains bright original paint with no major chips or cracks. The red chenille body is clean, plush, and holds pose easily. Both original accessories are intact.
