Vintage mid-century ROMO Bowie Hunting Knife, manufactured in the world-famous cutlery hub of Solingen, Germany and imported by Rosenbaum & Mogal (New York). This heavy-duty knife features classic German craftsmanship from the 1950s–1970s era.

*Blade Type: Heavy carbon steel clip-point Bowie blade with a deep fuller (blood groove).
*Handle Material:Genuine stag (antler) bone handle scales.
*Hardware: Cast metal finger guard and stylized animal-head pommel.
*Markings: Fully legible "SOLINGEN GERMANY" stamp on one side of the ricasso, and the classic "ROMO" brand logo with an arrow running through it on the reverse side.
Condition:This knife is being sold in “As-Is / Found Condition” for restoration or display.
*Blade: Shows a heavy, authentic dark gray patina, surface oxidation, and minor pitting consistent with age. The edge has minor wear and could use a professional sharpening.
*Handle Scales: Please examine the included pictures for details. One of the scales appears to be a little short and there is a small crack forming near the finger guard.
*Handle Fit: Please note that the handle assembly is currently loose/wobbly. The scales and guard are completely attached but have some play due to the age-related shrinkage of the internal spacers over the last 50+ years. This is a very common and easy fix for a collector or restorer, or it can be displayed as-is.
