Unique vintage lamp with a turned wood base featuring a segmented, tiered design with a smooth, varnished finish. The shade and finial are original to the base, crafted from delicate bamboo slats that gently diffuse the light into a warm glow. The interior is fully lined with a fabric that appears to be silk, but I can’t say for certain.
Even lovelier in person.
🛑 PLEASE NOTE: base and shade may be shipped separately to insure safe delivery.
Condition: The piece remains unaltered and shows no signs of damage, cracks, or repairs.
All of the main bamboo slats are intact and remain structurally sound, with the shade retaining its original form and stability. There is a very small area along the bamboo fiber wrapping at the bottom edge where the weave has slightly unraveled (see last photo). This minor imperfection does not affect the shade’s structural integrity, functionality, or overall appearance.
Measures Approximately: 18H
Bamboo Shade : 8H x 11
