Vintage Navajo Five Strand 26" Natural Branch Coral Necklace/w 925 Silver Cones For Sale

Vintage Navajo five-strand necklace of natural red branch coral, some pieces showing a hollow, tubular structure. Measures 26 inches cone tip to cone tip, and has a 4-inch extension chain. The cones and links are hand-soldered by the artisan. Total weight of this beautiful necklace is 93.1 grams. A striking example of wearable Navajo artistry and history. Tightly strung with no gaps between beads. No hallmark, but acid-tested and confirmed sterling silver. I bought this piece from the Native American art gallery I was working at 23 years ago, and it has been carefully stored in a jewelry cabinet since then. This handcrafted jewelry is in very good condition.
