Vintage Nippon E-OH Rose Floral 3 pc Tea Set For Sale

This is a 3-piece hand painted tea set marked Nippon China E-OH. Nippon was marked on porcelain pieces that were made to export to the west from Japan. (Nippon means Japan) In 1921 pieces were no longer marked Nippon, but rather marked Japan as the country of origin. This Tohina E-OH hand painted set dates between 1916 - 1921. The three pieces of our set have a white background, with pink roses as the main flowers, and smaller purple flowers along with green leaves and gold accents. All three are in very good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The colors are vibrant and clear. The lidded tea pot measures 4 1/2\" tall and 7 1/2\" from spout to handle. The lidded sugar bowl is 4\" tall and 5 1/2\" from handle to handle. And the creamer is 2 3/4\" tall and 5\" from spout to handle. A delightful set to display.
