Up for sale is a highly collectible antique/vintage post-WWII table top cigarette/cigar lighter shaped like a classical neo-classical urn (vase with ornate handles). This heavy cast metal piece features beautiful relief detailing along the body, rim, and pedestal base.A true historical pieceāit is clearly marked in two locations. The hammered golden well under the base is stamped: "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN". This strictly dates the manufacturing of this item between 1945 and 1952 during the Allied occupation era.Cosmetic Condition:
Honest vintage pre-owned condition from a recent estate/storage find. The metal body shows heavy, authentic aged dark patina, tarnish, and surface wear/pitting consistent with its 70+ years of age. No structural cracks or broken parts. We sell it exactly as found, uncleaned, as many collectors prefer the original historic look.Mechanical Condition:
The push-lever automatic mechanism functions smoothly and the lid pops up properly. Please note: IT DOES NOT CURRENTLY SPARK. It is missing the flint inside the tube and will require a standard flint replacement to operate. Please Note:

It is untested with fluid and sold "as-is" for historical collections, restoration, or as a striking Hollywood Regency / MCM decor conversation piece. Please review all photos carefully to assess the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
