Vintage handmade Ocean Waves patchwork quilt featuring colorful floral, polka-dot, plaid, and novelty-print triangles surrounding light-blue diamond shapes. Finished with a bright turquoise border and an unusual football-player print backing with visible yarn ties.
The patchwork fabrics appear consistent with the 1930s–1940s; the quilt may have been backed or finished later. Exact age and maker are unknown.
Preowned vintage condition with significant wear. Multiple open seams and torn areas expose the inner layer. Staining/discoloration is visible on the patchwork, blue sections, border, and backing. Also shows fraying, loose threads, and wrinkles. Please review all photographs closely.
