Operating as a major commercial supplier, they produced exotic drinkware, cocktail garnishes, and tropical lighting for iconic tiki lounges and themed restaurants throughout the United States. Many of their classic mid-century ceramic items, including this R-15 model, were manufactured in Japan to meet the huge demand for high-quality, mold-carved barware.
⚜️Pineapples have traditionally been the ultimate universal symbol of hospitality and warm welcome. In mid-century tiki bars, a lidded pineapple vessel like this was reserved for presenting specialized tropical rum concoctions, safely holding in the cold while offering a fun surprise for patrons.
