Beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain serving platter by Kozan Gama / Kozan Kiln, imported by Otagiri Mercantile Company (OMC).
This large rectangular platter measures approximately 14 1/8” long x 9 3/8” wide x 1 1/2” high and features an elaborate Japanese Imari-style landscape design in rich cobalt blue, iron red, green, white and gilt gold.
The central scene depicts a traditional Japanese waterside landscape with mountains, sailing boats, village architecture, trees, rocky cliffs and a bridge. The scene is surrounded by a highly decorative border of cobalt blue geometric latticework, floral medallions, stylized blossoms and extensive gold detailing.
The platter is especially attractive because of the combination of the detailed scenic center and the richly patterned Imari-style border. The exterior sides are also decorated with colorful Japanese knot motifs, giving the piece visual interest from every angle.
The underside retains both the blue Kozan Gama kiln mark and the original gold O-M-C JAPAN foil label, making this a desirable example for collectors of vintage Otagiri, OMC, Japanese porcelain and decorative Imari-style ceramics.
A substantial and beautifully decorated vintage serving piece that would display wonderfully as a centerpiece, cabinet piece, wall display or functional serving platter.

Excellent vintage condition overall. No chips, cracks or repairs observed. Decoration remains vivid with strong cobalt blue, red, green and gilt accents.
