Up for sale is a beautiful antique Perfection No. 525 portable kerosene parlor heater.
This unit features a classic multi-sided wick adjustment knob, decorative
cast-iron legs, and the original wire bail carrying handle with a cool-touch coil.
CONDITION DETAIL:
Mechanically, this unit is in outstanding vintage shape. Unlike most estate finds,
the burner mechanism is NOT seized. The cotton wick is complete, soft, supple,
and raises/lowers completely free of restrictions.
- The silver fuel fount (tank) is clean and retains clear stamped lettering reading
"USE ONLY NO. 500 PERFECTION WICK."
- The interior flame spreader/air distributor assembly removes easily.
- The lower cast iron assembly retains a beautiful glossy black finish.
- The upper steel chimney drum shows a nice, authentic aged rust patina—perfect
for a rustic farmhouse look or a restoration project.
