This piece was from Pier 1 Imports years ago.
Made before the year 2000.
It has one small divet. I did point it out in the photos.
The eyes and tusks are metal.
The tusks are old nails and are still solidly in place.
This is a hand-carved wooden elephant figure whose purpose was to be used as a pillow in an opium den.
It made from 2 pieces of wood. The body and trunk.
