ITEM:6"x 8" backed photo of Baba Muktananda sitting below a photo of his guru, Bhagawan Nityananda. No copyright stamped on the back.
DESCRIPTION:This 1970's photo of Baba is undoubtedly pre-Gauri Hubert's role as SYDA photographer. There is no copyright mark stamped on the back and the edges of the backer board are rough. I'm assuming this photo was taken in India due to the elaborate flowers draped around Nityananda's framed photo. This photo is in nice shape given its age; there are a few wear marks on the backer board.
Please Note:I am selling my treasures because once I'm gone (not soon I hope) I envision my adult sons renting a dumpster and giving my belongings the old heave-ho. I'd rather avoid the ecological disadvantages to that. Moreover, I believe there are devotees who will value these items.My sales go directly into our retirement FUN account which pays primarily for for travel.
About me:I met Baba in New York City in the 1970's. At that time, Gurumayi, was Baba's young translator, Malti. I have been to Ganeshpuri twice; in 1981 I lived at the ashram for 6 months and I went for a short visit after Baba's samadhi. I have been to the South Fallsburg ashram several times, once taking off my college summer semester so I could be with Baba.
