Up for sale is an authentic, hand-painted blue and white ceramic tile crafted by Royal Tichelaar Makkum, the oldest operating ceramic company in the Netherlands.
This stunning piece features a classic minimalist Dutch design showcasing a mid-air leaping hare (or rabbit) rendered in shades of cobalt blue glaze.
Each corner is adorned with traditional ornate Delftware motifs.The back features the crisp, official impressed factory backstamp including the Makkum shield, the Tichelaar crossed-T logo, and \"Holland\", confirming its genuine Frisian heritage.Condition:The front glaze is in excellent vintage condition with beautiful color, crisp details, and no notable chips or cracks. The reverse side shows some authentic residual mortar/adhesive markings from a previous installation, which does not impact display or structural integrity.
