This is a beautiful vintage covered sugar bowl, with its original matching lid, by Royal Worcester in the highly collectible Bacchanal pattern. This piece features the desirable cream background variation, elegantly decorated with purple grapes, green vine leaves, and a lovely fluted body finished with a hand-painted 22k gold trim. Perfect as a replacement piece to complete your dining set or as a beautiful addition to a vintage tea party service.This piece is in excellent vintage condition. Free of any chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The gold gilding on the handles, rim, and lid finial is bright and intact with virtually no visible wear. The printed backstamp on the underside is clean and fully intact. There is minor, normal vintage shelf wear/light gray marks on the unglazed base ring from gentle storage (completely hidden when sitting flat on a table).
