Scarce vintage SRG (Sell Right Giftware) African rhinoceros figurine from the company's large-scale animal series, dating to approximately the 1940s.
Sell Right Giftware produced distinctive cast-metal animal figures beginning in the 1930s, with many examples sold through museum gift shops. These figures were made with a bronzed patina finish, sometimes referred to by collectors as a "Royal Bronze" finish.
This substantial rhinoceros has especially nice sculptural detail, including the heavy body, facial features, folds around the neck and realistically modeled legs. The aged surface shows warm golden-bronze tones with darker areas and green verdigris-style patina.

Condition:The front horn has damage/loss, which is visible in the photos. Otherwise the figure displays very well with attractive age-related surface variation and patina.
