Wonderful lot of vintage Shiny Brite glass Christmas ornaments, presented in two original Shiny Brite boxes. The boxes are marked “Finest Quality – American Made.”
This is a colorful assortment of classic mid-century-style blown glass ornaments in red, pink, turquoise/blue, green, gold, silver and white, with a mixture of shapes and decorative finishes.
The lot includes 21 ornaments total: 12 ornaments in one box and 9 ornaments in the second box, which originally held 10. Designs include striped and glittered round ornaments, reflector/indent ornaments, bells, molded shapes, and scenic/holiday graphics. Especially charming are the “Merry Christmas” gold ornament and the red “Christmas Greetings” bell ornament.
The metal caps visible in the photos are marked Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Expect some areas of finish loss, fading, spotting, scratches, oxidation/tarnish to caps, and glitter/decorative wear consistent with older glass ornaments. Two ornaments are missing from the 10-count box. Original boxes show age/storage wear, including creasing, edge/corner wear and wear to the clear window. One box retains an old Payless price sticker.
These are delicate vintage glass ornaments and will be carefully packed for shipping. Please examine all photos closely for individual ornament condition and box condition.
