Vintage mid-century 2” figural turtle pill/trinket box bythe highly collectible designer Florenza. Beautifully detailed,three-dimensional turtle lid on a footed, textured gold-tone base. The turtleshell is heavily embellished with a large central faux-turquoise cabochon,surrounded by six smaller turquoise accents, and finished with tiny red crystaleyes.

• Stamped FLORENZA© in a raised rectangular cartouche clearly visible on the bottom of the base.
• Also features a secondary FLORENZA© stamp inside the lid.

Condition:

• Excellent vintage condition. The gold-plated finish remains bright and crisp with fantastic detail. All cabochons and rhinestones are original, securely intact, and completely free of chips or cracks.
• The interior shows some dark spotting, and age-related wear inside the base compartment and the underside of the lid (as pictured).
• The lid sits on the base. Please note this is a lift-off style lid design, not a hinged variant.
