Vintage Silver Plate Chafing Dish Warmer Alcohol Burner w/ Wick & Votive Holder For Sale

This is a very old silver plated chafing dish warmer with flame spreader. It burns denatured alcohol, methyl alcohol or spirit fuel placed in the reservoir and taken up along the wick to the flame spreader. The side handle adjusts the wick, which adjusts the size of the flame. The chafing dish placed on top of the flame spreader will be kept warm. This piece has vintage patina but will polish up nicely if you wish to do that. The wick is new. The side handle turns easily and closes well to douse the flame. Included is a silver plated votive candle holder which can be used to keep an elevated dish warm. The piece measures about 3 1/2" tall.
