Vintage Stanley Woodworking Hand Plane – Barn Find – Antique Woodworking Tool

Offered for sale is a vintage Stanley woodworking hand plane that was recently found in an old barn. This is a genuine older Stanley tool with plenty of age, character, and honest wear.

The plane has a metal body with the original wooden front and rear handles. The Stanley name is visible on the metal badge/lever area. The tool shows considerable signs of age and previous use, including surface rust, oxidation, scratches, discoloration, worn finish, and general patina throughout. The wooden handles also show scratches, wear, and finish loss consistent with years of use and storage.

This is being sold as found from the barn and has not been professionally cleaned, restored, or refinished. I have not attempted to remove the original rust or patina, allowing the next owner to decide whether to preserve it as found, clean it, or restore it.
