Charming vintage Steinbach German handcrafted Snowman, model S1714, complete with its original Steinbach box.
This whimsical wooden snowman features a classic red top hat with blue band, red and blue knitted scarf, carrot nose and blue-striped body. He holds a small red bird in one hand and a twig broom in the other, with additional snowballs hanging at his side.
The underside retains the Original Steinbach Volkskunst Germany mark, and the original box label identifies the piece as:
S1714 – “Snowman”
Handcrafted in Germany

A wonderful older Steinbach piece with lots of character and a great addition to a German Christmas, nutcracker, snowman or Steinbach collection.
