Featuring a Vintage Thorens Bakelite Grand Piano Music Box. Features gold trim with a reddish green Bakelite lid and a Swiss movement music mechanism that plays “Lara’s Theme”. The lid opens and the wood interior has a small compartment fitting for jewelry, trinkets and keepsakes. Made in Switzerland in the early 1900’s; this is a wonderful music box that plays a sweet tune. Opening/closing the lid triggers the music playing and functions perfectly.
In great pre-owned condition with some tarnish around the trim, the hinges for the lid are all intact along with the legs. There is a slight vibration sound on some of the notes however the music mechanism plays flawlessly. No major chips or cracks are present. Phenomenal condition considering the age.

This a wonderful, rare and beautiful vintage music box that plays a soothing tune. We kept this in our nursery for the early months of my sons birth and the music always brought him comfort. It also has a classic look to it which makes it a great decor piece and collectors item.
